Twenty Vancouver schools each create a unique fairy garden — a trail of wonder winding through the BMO Great Hall at VanDusen. Private Reception: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Open to the Public: 12:15 PM – 4:00 PM

An enchanting fairy performer will roam the event from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, bringing magic to life for children of all ages.

Vancouver’s beloved kids’ band performs live from 11:00 AM–11:45 PM during the private reception and again from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM for the public — Admission by donation to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (minimum $10 per person)

A truly unforgettable encounter — meet an owl up close, creating memories the whole family will treasure. Private Reception: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Public Encounter: 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM.

Soft, gentle, and adorable — children can visit and cuddle our fluffy bunny friends in their fairy-garden setting from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM during the private reception, and from 12:15 PM – 1:30 PM when the event opens to the public.

Children can decorate their own fairy wings and wand to take home as a magical keepsake.

Eight Vancouver artists have painted original fairy doors — beautifully framed and available for bidding all day.

The BCCH Judges’ Award — chosen by children from BC Children’s Hospital — will be presented during a heartfelt ceremony at the private reception (10:00 AM–12:00 PM). Visitors throughout the day will then be invited to vote for their favourite installation for the People’s Choice Award.
